Playable by 2 to 4 players, each receives five cards (seven in two-player games). The objective remains the same: be the first to empty your hand. Players discard cards by matching the rank or suit of the top card in the discard pile. If a player lacks a playable card, they draw from the stock pile until they find a match.
Strategic depth comes from special cards: Aces reverse play direction; Queens skip the next player's turn; Twos force the next player to draw two cards (unless they can play another Two, creating a "stack"); and Eights allow the player to choose the suit for the next round.
