In PvE: Poseidon accumulates "Yang Yun" by not using soul power on his turn. This boosts the damage of agility-focused and hidden weapon soul masters. He also amplifies teammate critical damage based on his own critical hits.

In PvP: Poseidon disrupts enemy turn order, reversing soul power recovery and action bar progress, significantly reducing incoming damage. He also inflicts "Soul Sorrow," forcing enemies to spend at least 1 soul power per skill or face failure. Multiple consecutive skill uses under "Soul Sorrow" lead to permanent silencing, effectively countering multi-attack soul masters. His skills receive further enhancements with full soul power.
