How to Solve the Crosswords
Clues appear in the definition area, with some letters missing (white, non-transparent cells; the active cell is highlighted). Fill in the missing letters to reveal the clue and solve the puzzle. For instance, in Easy-01, one clue might be "_O W L." Possible solutions are "BOWL" and "HOWL." Use the lamp button for hints: "Open a letter," "Open a word," or "Delete mistakes." You can also start with the easier word, perhaps "KETCHUP," to help determine the missing letters. Let's say the next highlighted word is "_ E T." This makes the first word "BOWL" obvious. The answer to the clue is "BET." Note that answers aren't always immediately apparent and may have multiple possibilities.
