May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has announced the exciting lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, offering a diverse selection of titles for subscribers. The full list was revealed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post, showcasing six new games that will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members starting May 20.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to an impressive nine new titles across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Leading the pack is the highly anticipated "Sand Land," an action RPG that brings the iconic world of Akira Toriyama's manga to life. Other notable additions include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy." The latter's Enhanced Edition, announced for PS5 along with PC and Xbox Series X | S, is also slated for release on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains uncertain if this offer extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

PlayStation Plus Premium members will enjoy an additional classic title, "Battle Engine Aquila," available on both PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game lets players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in the air and on the ground.
