9th Dawn Remake Coming to Android With Full Console Experience

The Legend Returns: 9th Dawn Reborn for Mobile

Get ready, RPG fans - Valorware's critically acclaimed 9th Dawn is getting a spectacular remake, and it's coming to mobile devices on May 1st. While console players will get their hands on it a bit earlier on April 24th, 2025, Android and iOS users won't be getting some half-baked mobile port. This is the complete, reimagined experience of the 2012 original.

What's Different in This Remake?

Valorware didn't just slap a fresh coat of paint on this one. Nearly everything about the game has been rebuilt from the ground up. Combat feels more responsive than ever, the world map has expanded significantly, and even the storyline has been retooled with brand new narrative threads.

Adventure seekers will discover over 45 meticulously designed dungeons crawling with creatures. Loot enthusiasts can look forward to an overwhelming selection of weapons, armor, magical items, and bizarre curios to collect.

Your adventure begins with a seemingly simple missing person case, but quickly escalates into an epic struggle against dark forces threatening the entire continent of Montelorne. The infamous Castle of Maltyr awaits as the ultimate challenge - you'll need every tool at your disposal, from powerful monster companions to legendary forged weapons.

More Than Just Hack and Slash

When you need a break from dungeon crawling, 9th Dawn Remake offers some surprisingly deep diversions. The fishing system has evolved into "Fishing Survivors" - a chaotic minigame that mixes worm-baiting with bullet-hell mechanics.

Then there's Deck Rock, a completely new card game-within-a-game that combines deckbuilding with roguelike dungeon runs. These side activities are so fleshed out they could almost stand as separate titles.

The mobile version delivers the complete Montelorne experience, including all side quests, both local and online co-op modes, and multilingual support for international players. Priced at $9.99, it launches May 1st - head to the official website for more details.
