Adventure Time #5 features writing by Nick Winn (known for Silver Sprocket's Bloody Mary) and artwork by Kenzie Bugg (artist for Adult Swim's Tuca and Bertie). The issue includes cover contributions from Winn and Bugg alongside Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. Additionally, it contains a backup story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the Adventure Time animated series.
Here's Oni's official synopsis for the new installment:
Fresh from their cosmic dance battle, Finn and Jake receive startling news: Billy has mysteriously resurfaced in...the Computer Kingdom? Eager to locate the Enchiridion for Computer Princess and establish himself as a genuine hero (not just some kid adventurer), Finn rushes to investigate. But Billy isn't what he seems... What secrets lie in Computer Princess's history? And what ominous fate awaits Finn? Surely nothing terribly evil...RIGHT?!
Adventure Time #5 hits shelves on September 3, 2025. The first collected edition, Adventure Time Vol. 1: Best of Buds, is currently available for preorder on Amazon.
