AFK Journey starts the cook-off with the launch of their Delicious in Dungeon collab

As another RPG is launching a major fantasy collaboration, it makes sense for Farlight Games' AFK Journey to participate. This is because their Delicious in Dungeon collaboration, which brings the adventure team from the popular anime series into the world of Esperia, is now live!

Delicious in Dungeon is an anime that follows an adventure group trying to rescue one of their members from a large dungeon. However, with the danger of running out of food, they meet a dwarf named Senshi, who shows them how to safely consume the creatures and plants found in the dungeon.

As you might expect, key characters from the series will appear in the form of human fighter Laios and elf mage Marcille (refer to our AFK Journey tier list for some suggestions on whom to pair them with). However, if you're interested in developing your cooking skills, you'll have access to an entirely new system dedicated to it!

You might have already guessed that I'm very interested in this collaboration. Considering that we covered it on the Pocket Gamer Podcast. But I really believe it will be enjoyable for fans of the series and newcomers alike, especially with the introduction of a completely new cooking subsystem.

This isn't a limited system either, as you'll be able to engage in various battles to collect ingredients, earning powerful combat bonuses from the meals you prepare. So jump in before it ends on December 26th to get some rewards!
