Attention all CrossCode and 2.5D-style RPG enthusiasts! Radical Fish Games, the masterminds behind the beloved action RPG CrossCode, have just unveiled their latest project: Alabaster Dawn. This highly anticipated 2.5D action RPG invites players to embark on a journey to revive humanity following a catastrophic event orchestrated by the goddess Nyx. Dive into the details of this exciting announcement below.
The developers have also teased a public demo for Alabaster Dawn, slated for release sometime in the future, coinciding with its Early Access launch in late 2025.
For those planning to attend Gamescom this year, you're in for a treat. Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn, offering select attendees an exclusive hands-on experience. While spots are limited, the studio assures fans that they'll be available at their booth from Wednesday to Friday for casual chats and more.

Set against the backdrop of Tiran Sol, a world left in shambles by the wrath of the goddess Nyx, Alabaster Dawn challenges players to restore humanity and break the curse that has enveloped the land. You step into the shoes of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, on a quest to awaken humanity's remnants and reclaim the world from Nyx's grip.
Alabaster Dawn promises an immersive experience with an estimated 30-60 hours of gameplay across seven distinct regions. Players will not only engage in rebuilding settlements and establishing trade routes but also dive into dynamic, fast-paced combat reminiscent of games like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and the studio's own CrossCode. With a choice of eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree, along with elements of parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking, the game offers a rich and varied gameplay experience.
In a significant update to fans, Radical Fish Games announced that the first 1-2 hours of Alabaster Dawn are now nearly fully playable, marking a crucial milestone in the game's development. "It may not sound like much, but getting to that point is a big milestone for us," the developers shared, underscoring their dedication and progress.
