Clash Royale has finally introduced a major upgrade for the Inferno Dragon. Nearly a decade after its initial release, this fiery Legendary card gets its long-awaited evolution. To commemorate this milestone, Supercell partnered with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a creative unveiling.

The Inferno Dragon takes center stage in a new Clash Royale promotional video after its nine-year absence from the spotlight. Watch as Ismo Leikola plays the eccentric talent agent trying to secure stardom for his scaly client.

The mischievous dragon temporarily abandons its Clash Royale duties to pursue fame in Tinseltown in this humorous short film.

The evolved Inferno Dragon features improved battlefield mechanics. Unlike the original version that resets damage when switching targets, the upgraded form maintains its increasing damage output for greater effectiveness.

New Season Features Inferno Dragon Evolution

Titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", the latest season introduces both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and brings back the popular 2v2 League mode. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ranks.

Milestone Events starting from Arena 7 offer rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.

Crown Chase #1 provides a Battle Banner with frame decoration plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with another Battle Banner and 3 Evolution Shards.

The developers have scheduled several special game modes throughout June and early July to showcase the new Evolution cards. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) offering a Battle Banner and Emote.

Other special modes include:

• Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) - decks can include up to 4 Evolution Cards
• Magical Trio (June 16-23)
• 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
• Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) - up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck
