Pokémon Go has unveiled details for February's Community Day, featuring two spotlight Pokémon. The event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on February 9th, 2025.
Karrablast and Shelmet will appear more frequently throughout the event, with chances to encounter their rare Shiny variants. Trainers should prepare for intensive catching sessions.
The evolutionary rewards elevate the excitement. Evolve Karrablast during the event (or before February 16th at 10:00 PM local time) to obtain an Escavalier with the exclusive Charged Attack Razor Shell.
This move delivers 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 power in Gym/Raid scenarios. Similarly, evolving Shelmet grants an Accelgor knowing Energy Ball - a consistent 90-power attack across all battle formats.
Special Research offers encounters with themed Karrablast/Shelmet (Dual Destiny background), plus a Premium Battle Pass and Rare Candy XL rewards.
A week-long Timed Research unlocks post-event; complete Community Day log-in to access tasks awarding the special-background Pokémon.
February's Community Day delivers stacked bonuses: 3× Catch XP, doubled Candy rewards, and boosted Candy XL odds for level 31+ Trainers.
Lure Modules/Incense (excluding Daily Adventure) extend to three hours. Photo encounters yield surprise rewards. Players can download Pokémon GO via Google Play.
