Writer Greg Rucka and artist Nicola Scott, known for their groundbreaking work on Wonder Woman: Year One, are teaming up again for an exciting new venture in the DC Universe. Their latest collaboration, titled "Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League," promises a thrilling narrative featuring two iconic villains.
The series, written by Rucka and illustrated by Scott, with colors by Annette Kwok and lettering by Troy Peteri, is set to release as part of DC's ongoing All In initiative. This six-issue arc explores the dynamic duo of Cheetah and Cheshire as they devise and execute a daring heist. Their target? One of the most secure facilities in the DC Universe—and the Justice League themselves.
According to DC's official synopsis, the story follows Cheetah and Cheshire as they meticulously plan and carry out their audacious scheme. To succeed, they must assemble a top-tier team capable of overcoming not only the odds but also the formidable Justice League. However, their mission comes with significant challenges, including the most advanced orbital platform in existence, its AI-controlled security systems, and, of course, the world's greatest heroes.
Rucka teased the stakes in a recent statement: "This is a crew of villains—or at least characters often labeled as such. None of them would be welcome in the Justice League Watchtower. We’re throwing everything at them, but for Cheetah, this is an all-or-nothing gamble. She has no choice but to succeed."
