Confirmed: Marvel Rivals will be getting 2 heroes every 3 months

NetEase Games is committed to keeping Marvel Rivals fresh and exciting for players with regular updates. Expect a new update approximately every six weeks, introducing two new heroes each quarter. This ensures a constant stream of new content to draw players back into the game.

Game director Guangyun Chen revealed that each season's update is divided into two parts: one new hero is added in the first half, and another in the second. This phased approach maintains player engagement throughout the season. Beyond new heroes, updates will also include new maps, storylines, and objectives. Previously announced characters include the upcoming Blade and Altron (revealed through leaks), with the full Fantastic Four team also recently confirmed.

According to Chinese gaming publication GameLook, Marvel Rivals has generated approximately $100 million globally, with a significant portion stemming from the Chinese market. This marks a major step for Marvel into the gaming world, leveraging its established cinematic dominance.
