Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, rejoice! Today marks the release of a significant update, version 1.1, from Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update addresses many of the features and challenges that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting.
Introducing Legend Mode, a new high-difficulty setting that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. Enemies in Woanope are now quicker, pack a harder punch, and boast significantly larger HP bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes is more fragile than ever. Although there aren't additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode is now available. This mode dials down the combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, constructing charming homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the game's narrative, decorate your base, and interact with Crashlands 2's unique characters.
One of the most anticipated features making a comeback is The Compendium. Responding to player feedback post-launch, the developers have reintroduced this beloved feature. The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux uncovers, from pets and recipes to items you need to collect to achieve your goals.
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are now more than just companions; they actively participate in battles and each has a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. Additionally, gear crafting has seen an expansion with the introduction of random bonus stats on armor, alongside a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout this update. Players can now build on a wider range of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness at night, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. Launched on April 10th, this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
