Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled their latest project, *Cthulu Keeper*, a humorous strategy game that draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's eerie tales and the iconic 1997 game, *Dungeon Keeper* by Bullfrog. This exciting new title is currently in development for PC, promising players a unique gaming experience set in the 1920s.
In *Cthulu Keeper*, players will have the opportunity to "build your very own cult and generate fear and chaos around you," as stated by the developers. The gameplay involves constructing a lair, delving into dark research, and summoning Lovecraftian-inspired monsters. To expand their influence, players will recruit cultists, engage in street canvassing, and accomplish various objectives. However, the path to dominance won't be easy, as rival cults and authorities pose significant threats. Players must use traps and spells strategically to defend their sanctuaries.
