Disney has unveiled exciting new details about the upcoming event, Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, and announced that tickets will go on sale on April 14, 2025. Set to take place at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort from August 29 to 31, this event promises a magical experience filled with exclusive presentations from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios. Attendees can look forward to spectacular entertainment, sneak peeks into the various worlds of Disney, interactive activations, and unique shopping experiences.
To secure your spot at Destination D23, you must be a D23 Gold Member when tickets go on sale at 10am PT/1pm ET on April 14. The lowest tier of D23 Gold Membership is priced at $49.99 per year and offers numerous benefits, including access to other exclusive events and merchandise. General admission tickets for Destination D23 are priced at $299, while a limited number of Preferred tickets at $549 and Premiere tickets at $799 will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets include dedicated queues for reserved seating areas, and D23 Gold Members can purchase a ticket for themselves and one guest.
The event will feature over 25 specially curated presentations from across The Walt Disney Company, along with an exclusive D23 Shopping Spree experience. While specific details about the presentations are yet to be announced, shopping enthusiasts can look forward to exclusive merchandise at The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey's of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Ink & Paint Marketplace.
On August 30, all attendees are invited to celebrate 25 years of The Emperor's New Groove at the D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon. The following day, August 31, will feature the Disney '80s-'90s Celebration in Concert, showcasing Broadway and Disney Animation stars for a memorable evening.
Fans can also anticipate The Walt Disney Archives: Charting the Course, Disney Global Stories & Inspirations, which celebrates the diverse cultures around the world that have inspired beloved Disney experiences. This includes exhibits such as Dwayne Johnson's Jungle Cruise costume, animation maquettes from The Lion King and Mulan, and original puppets from EPCOT's Tapestry of Nations.
For those arriving in Orlando a few days early, additional events include D23 Nights at Disney Springs and A Goofy Movie Throwback Premiere on August 28.
