Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated Disney+ series, "Daredevil: Born Again," bringing back the beloved character Matt Murdock, portrayed by Charlie Cox, from the Netflix series. Set to premiere on March 4, the show will also see the return of familiar faces such as Vincent D'Onofrio as the formidable Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal reprising his role as the relentless Frank Castle, aka The Punisher.
The trailer showcases a thrilling reunion of these main characters amidst intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, in top form, is seen tackling the criminal elements lurking in New York City's Hell's Kitchen. The storyline introduces an intriguing twist where Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk must form an unlikely alliance to confront a new and dangerous adversary: the serial killer known as Muse. The trailer gives us a chilling glimpse of Muse, adorned in his signature bleeding eye white mask.
Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's roster of villains, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney and first appeared in 2016's "Daredevil #11." The trailer also teases the return of Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, another iconic Daredevil antagonist. Bethel, who portrayed Bullseye (aka Benjamin Poindexter) in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes. That season not only brought Bullseye into the Netflix Marvel universe but also reimagined the character with a deeply moving and tragic backstory, adding a layer of depth that had been missing since his introduction in 1976's "Daredevil #131." Fans are eager to see how his narrative will evolve in this new series.
