The New Denpa Men has made its way to Android, bringing the charm of these quirky creatures to mobile gamers everywhere. Initially released in July 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, this game developed and published by Genius Sonority now offers a unique experience tailored for Android users, with some notable differences from its Switch counterpart.
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you’ve already been adventuring with your Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your journey on your mobile device.
The mobile version introduces a fresh feature called QR Catch, allowing you to scan QR codes around you to add new Denpa Men to your team. This replaces the Normal Catch method available on the Switch. However, some features from the Switch version, like Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not included in the mobile version.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, you can collect vouchers called Akashi, which drop randomly from monsters. These can be used to complete your collection, gifted to friends, or utilized in battles, adding a new layer of strategy to your gameplay.
A fun twist has been added with scarecrows, which you can now use to summon monsters. These summoned creatures will join your fight, attacking enemies and healing your party, enhancing your combat experience.
The New Denpa Men features these mysterious creatures floating invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission is to catch them, train them, and embark on thrilling adventures. The game offers a mix of dungeon-crawling, island decoration, interaction with your Denpa Men, fishing, and exploration of various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. The game is primarily controlled via touchscreen, but you also have the option to use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
