Painter’s Regret Treasure Map Location in Avowed

In *Avowed*, treasure maps can be obtained through various means, such as purchasing them with in-game currency or discovering them during your exploration of the expansive world. However, the Painter’s Regret map is unique in that it can only be found out in the wild.

The Painter’s Regret treasure map is located in Emerald Stair, the second major area you'll explore in *Avowed*. Head to the northeast end of Coastal Farms, where you'll find a large house positioned in front of a rock face. Be prepared, as a host of enemies guards the entrance, and you'll need to defeat them before entering.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed

As with many RPGs, accessing the house isn't as straightforward as walking through the front door, which is barred shut. After dealing with the enemies outside, navigate to the right side of the house where you'll find a walkway leading to an unbarred back door. Enter through this door to find yourself inside the house, where a large painting on an easel awaits you. This painting is the treasure map you seek. Grab it, and you're set to embark on your treasure hunt in *Avowed*.

With the map in hand, head to the western side of the river southwest of Fior mes Iverno to uncover the treasure. Your reward for this endeavor is the Painter’s Brush, a unique trinket that boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat prowess in the Living Lands.
