Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game that ingeniously combined Disney and Pixar characters into a thrilling new universe, has officially announced its end of service (EOS). Kabam, the game's developer, has set the final date for December 16th, 2024. As of today, the game has been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases have been disabled. If you're a fan still playing, you have approximately three months left to enjoy the game before its servers shut down.

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse is an action RPG where players join forces with reimagined versions of beloved Disney and Pixar characters. Kabam recommends that current players complete the final storyline before the game vanishes forever. Despite the initial excitement, especially among Disney enthusiasts, the game struggled to retain players due to its lengthy early access beta phase and the absence of regular content updates.

Unfortunately, Disney Mirrorverse never fully realized its potential. The game's challenging shard collection system required significant time and money to fully develop characters. However, it did boast stunning character designs, both in creativity and graphics. The sting of the EOS announcement was particularly felt just a week after Kabam introduced new story content and added Cinderella as a playable character. This sudden decision left many players surprised, but it's not Kabam's first such move. Last year, they abruptly ended Transformers: Forged to Fight, and previously, a spin-off of their successful game Marvel Contest of Champions was also discontinued.
