Donkey Kong Bananza Set for Nintendo Switch 2 Release

Nintendo has unveiled an exciting new addition to its gaming lineup with the announcement of Donkey Kong Bananza, a 3D platforming action game set to be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 17, 2025, priced at $69.99. During the Nintendo Direct, a debut gameplay trailer was released, offering fans a first look at what to expect from this highly anticipated title.

The official description teases an exhilarating adventure where players can "crash, bash, and climb through nearly everything in DK’s path" and use groundbreaking exploration mechanics to tear off chunks of terrain, swing around, and throw them. As players demolish more with powerful punches, new areas will open up for discovery, promising an adventure full of mayhem, surprises, and, of course, bananas.

The Nintendo Switch 2, set to launch on June 5, 2025, will be available for $449.99.
