Discover the latest updates on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, including the return of the Peep Demo Theater and enhancements to the camouflage system.
The ESRB has recently rated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) with an M for Mature, and the rating summary confirms the return of the controversial Peep Demo Theater feature. This feature, originally found in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely control the camera and zoom in on any part of her body, but unlocking this mode requires collecting all other cutscenes through four complete playthroughs of the game.
While the mature rating aligns with the game's themes of violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory, the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater has surprised many fans due to its explicit nature.
MGS Delta also introduces a faster camouflage system, as showcased in a recent METAL GEAR OFFICIAL post on Twitter (X) on March 28. The post highlighted a new feature that allows players to change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a significant improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a time-consuming process that required pausing the game and navigating through multiple menus. This enhancement will undoubtedly enhance the game's pacing and immersion, especially during stealth sections.
As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, anticipation for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater continues to build. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, promising both nostalgic returns and quality-of-life improvements.
