The Taipei Game Show 2025 turned out to be a resounding success for Etheria: Restart, attracting thousands of enthusiastic fans. The event not only broke records set by previous betas but also offered a wealth of exclusive content, ranging from live competitions to hands-on previews, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
Etheria: Restart's booth was a hub of excitement, featuring a variety of in-game challenges, cosplayer appearances, and giveaways of exclusive merchandise. Fans had the opportunity to win limited-edition collectibles, with a few fortunate attendees walking away with a PS5 Pro.
On January 24th and 25th, the event was further enlivened by the presence of popular streamer Akaoni, who engaged in live battles, hosted challenge events, and interacted warmly with fans. Attendees who participated in these festivities were treated to a signed photo as a cherished memento.
The closed beta test of Etheria: Restart set new milestones, with an impressive total of over 900,000 summons. Characters like Massiah, Tiamat, and Hoyan were the most popular among participants. Remarkably, one Hyperlinker, Tianyu Rin, achieved the feat of collecting every single character, a first in the beta.
In terms of player progression, the average level reached was around 35, but standout player Lulu advanced to level 66. The Peak Arena saw 82 competitors secure rankings, with Fried Bun emerging as the top-ranked Hyperlinker in both PvP modes. Guild Qiyan City achieved the highest single-damage output during the event's most challenging battle.
The new boss fight against NicoNana was a significant highlight, drawing over 24,000 attempts. This battle proved to be a formidable test, pushing teams to refine their strategies to overcome the challenge.
