EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, the much-anticipated sequel to the popular game EvoCreo, made its debut on Android last week. The game's developers, ilmfinity, known for their work on Monster Adventure Games, have taken to Reddit to address the community's burning questions and provide insights into the game's future.
Set in the enchanting world of Shoru, players of EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG can look forward to capturing, training, and battling with over 300 unique Creo. The game offers a comprehensive storyline where you begin your journey as a recruit at the Shoru Police Academy, tasked with unraveling the mystery behind the disappearance of monsters. As you progress, you'll undertake more than 50 missions, uncover hidden secrets, and face formidable opponents in the competitive battle scene.
The developers have shared some key information on features and gameplay mechanics. Multiplayer functionality is on the horizon, but the team is prioritizing bug fixes and game balancing before its implementation. The same approach applies to controller support and cloud saves, which are both in the pipeline.
Regarding shiny Creo, the odds are set at 0.2% for regular shinies and a challenging 0.02% for rare shinies. Notably, starter Creo cannot be shiny, so don't expect any surprises there.
For those curious about capture rates, lowering a Creo's HP and applying status conditions will enhance your chances of a successful catch. However, be prepared for a tougher challenge with rare, high-level, and shiny Creo, as they are harder to capture.
Looking ahead, the roadmap for EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG is clear. The initial focus will be on refining the game over the first few months. Following this, cloud saves and controller support will be introduced, paving the way for additional story content and, ultimately, multiplayer features.
While waiting for these updates, you can dive into the adventure by downloading EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG from the Google Play Store.
