Just yesterday, Final Fantasy 16's Naoki Yoshida courteously requested that fans avoid creating "offensive or inappropriate" mods for the PC version. However, mods are currently the least of their concerns, as even the most powerful graphics cards struggle to meet Final Fantasy 16's demands on PC. Eager PC gamers were looking forward to enjoying the game in its full graphical splendor at 4K resolution and 60 fps. Yet, recent benchmarks reveal that achieving this might be elusive, even with the top-tier NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card.

John Papadopoulos from DSOGaming reports that maintaining a steady 60 fps at native 4K resolution with the highest settings is challenging for Final Fantasy 16 on PC. This is surprising, given that the RTX 4090 is one of the most potent consumer graphics cards available.

There's a ray of hope for PC players, though. Activating DLSS 3 Frame Generation alongside DLAA can purportedly push frame rates consistently over 80 fps. DLSS 3, NVIDIA's innovative technology, leverages AI to generate additional frames, resulting in smoother gameplay. Meanwhile, DLAA, an advanced anti-aliasing technique, enhances image quality without the significant performance hit typical of traditional methods.
