Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix to the MCU as Daredevil has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to return to the role, stating, "I’m here and I’m ready," at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.
Jones last played Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist Netflix series in 2018 and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the lukewarm reception to his portrayal of Iron Fist, Jones remains hopeful and open to criticism.
Daredevil's reintegration into the MCU has fueled hopes for a revival of The Defenders, with reports suggesting Marvel is "exploring" the possibility. At the convention, Jones acknowledged the mixed reactions to his performance but urged fans and Marvel to give him another chance, saying, "Give me a f***ing chance, man. I want to prove people wrong."

"Daredevil: Born Again" continues the storyline from the Netflix series, which was part of a smaller Marvel universe that also included Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. This universe is now officially part of the MCU canon, available on Disney+, and features Jon Bernthal reprising his role as The Punisher in "Daredevil: Born Again."
