Hostile NPCs and bosses in *Fortnite* may seem daunting, but they offer valuable rewards that can turn the tide of a match. Here's how to locate and defeat them for powerful loot.
Medallion Bosses in *Fortnite* are marked on the map from the start of the match, indicating their presence. There are two Medallions available, each granting a unique ability to the player who defeats the boss and claims it.
Shogun X is a roaming boss, making his exact location variable, but it's always marked on the map. To defeat him, players must first overcome his initial phase to obtain his Mythic Sentinel Pump Shotgun. To secure his Medallion, Mythic Fire Oni Mask, and Mythic Typhoon Blade, players need to visit the floating island and fully eliminate Shogun X. His Medallion provides infinite stamina and an invisibility cloak while sprinting.
Night Rose is stationed at Demon's Dojo. To defeat her, players must target the eyes of her Oni Mask while dodging her attacks. Upon defeating her, players can collect her Medallion, a Mythic Veiled Precision SMG, and a Mythic Void Oni Mask. Night Rose's Medallion enables automatic weapon reloading.
There are four Forecast Towers scattered across the *Fortnite* map, but only two will spawn per game. Before the second Storm Circle closes, three hostile NPCs will appear near these towers. Defeating these NPCs allows players to acquire an Epic-rarity Holo Twister Assault Rifle or Fury Assault Rifle, along with a Keycard. The Keycard grants access to the forecast, revealing the next Storm Circle's location in advance.
Demon Warriors enter the Battle Royale island through portals at specific locations. Each site features two weaker guards and a mini-boss. Defeating a Demon Warrior rewards players with a boon, providing a beneficial buff for the rest of the match. Here are the locations where players can encounter Demon Warriors:
