Fortnite Unveils Reload Mode, Reviving Beloved Weapons and Legendary Maps

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic maps and weapons with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

What's in Reload Mode?

Reload mode offers squad-based action where the game only ends when your entire squad is eliminated. No solo revives here! Expect a thrilling battle for survival, regardless of whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build.

The mode features a curated selection of unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. Vehicles are absent, increasing the intensity of close-quarters combat.

Victory Crowns remain, and when revived, players return with a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). A dynamic Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds to the pressure, but you can reduce this timer by eliminating opponents. Downed players can also choose to instantly initiate their reboot.

Elimination and Rewards:

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the action resource-driven and intense.

The mode also includes introductory quests offering substantial XP rewards. Complete three quests to earn the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six for the Pool Cubes Wrap, nine for the NaNa Bath Back Bling, and a Victory Royale unlocks The Rezzbrella Glider.
