Genshin Impact Version 5.5 \"Day of the Flame's Return\" Drops Soon with New Challenges and Features

Get ready for an explosive update as Genshin Impact rolls out Version 5.5, dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," set to launch on March 26th. The update promises to intensify the adventures in Natlan with a flurry of new content, both in terms of storyline and gameplay enhancements.

One of the most anticipated features in this update is the introduction of controller support for Android users. This long-awaited addition will finally allow players to enjoy the game with a more immersive control setup. For detailed information on the supported controllers, you can check out the official announcement.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Dive into the southwestern expanses of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, a towering volcano, and fresh faces. The Great Volcano of Tollan is not just a landmark but a gateway to ancient secrets and a long-dormant sacred city.

As magma stirs beneath, unravel the enigma of the "Flamelord’s Blessing" and the mystery surrounding the Little One. Your journey will lead you to the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values physical prowess and integrates strength challenges into their daily lives.

Version 5.5 introduces two new playable characters to the Genshin Impact roster: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support ability to the team by restoring Phlogiston post-food consumption, enhancing her utility outside of combat.

Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan’s six heroes, strikes a balance between offense and support. Triggering a Nightsoul Burst on her team grants her the Warming Up effect, enabling continuous healing for her allies.

In the first phase of Version 5.5’s Event Wishes, you can pull for Varesa and Iansan, along with a rerun of Xianyun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Check out all these exciting additions below.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll team up with Mavuika, Ifa, and other allies from Natlan to aid a sick Saurian. Engage in the mini-game "Saurian Treasure Seeker," guiding baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating in this event, you'll have the chance to invite Ororon to your team for free.

For those seeking a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. Ready to explore? You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this massive update once it's available.
