Get ready for a cosmic upgrade! Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9 blasts off on December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes to the Tavern. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a whole new vibe.

What's New in Bob's Technotavern?

Bob's Technotavern is getting a major overhaul! Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets, replacing them with exciting Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens let you reroll your hero choice at the selection screen—perfect for escaping those less-than-ideal options.

The Grand Reveal Schedule:

Before the full launch, get ready for a series of minion reveals:

• November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
• November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
• November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
• November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
• November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
• December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

More Than Just New Faces:

Season 9 introduces three brand-new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are joining or leaving the pool, shaking up familiar strategies.

Solo Battlegrounds games will also see a damage cap adjustment: 5 damage early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. This cap is lifted once you reach the top 4.

The Launch Timeline:

• December 3rd: The official launch! Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the fray.
• December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the party.
• December 9th: Undead and Elementals complete the lineup.
