If you're a car manufacturer looking to showcase your latest vehicle, there are numerous avenues you could take. From a sleek advertising campaign to celebrity endorsements, the options are vast. However, Hyundai has chosen a unique approach by partnering once again with Nexon's popular kart racing game, KartRider Rush+. This collaboration introduces the Insteroid concept car as a new kart in the game, designed by Hyundai Motors Europe Design Center and inspired by the INSTER, Hyundai's electric SUV.
Alongside the Insteroid, players can also get their hands on the new Glitched Hyundai Aura and an EV Charging Connector, both sporting the vibrant GOGOGOrange color scheme. But that's not all; a celebratory event running until April 28th offers players a chance to win 30 Lucky Star Jewels by using a Boost Shard at least once in-game. These jewels can be exchanged for items through the Starlight Treasure Hunt, adding an extra layer of excitement to the collaboration.
It's worth noting that the Insteroid isn't just a digital kart within KartRider Rush+; it's also a real-world concept car. While it's unlikely to hit the production line anytime soon, its presence in the game serves as an effective promotional tool. In my opinion, the Insteroid's design is far more stylish than the Cybertruck featured in Fortnite.
