Iansan’s First Teaser and an Official Reveal of Varesa in Genshin Impact 5.5

Genshin Impact's highly anticipated 5.5 update is bringing two exciting new characters to the roster! While leaks had already hinted at their arrival, miHoYo (HoYoverse) has now officially unveiled Varesa and Iansan.

Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, is described as easygoing and carefree, yet a formidable force in battle. As Iansan, her mentor, puts it: "Varesa, my most peculiar student… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature. No matter where she travels, she’s like a child on an adventure—always searching for delicious treats or a cozy spot to rest... But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"

Joining Varesa is Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm user, who transitions from a beloved NPC to a playable character. Iansan is Natlan's top trainer, and Varesa speaks highly of her influence: "Iansan is Natlan’s top trainer and the person I admire the most! People say I’m talented, but without her training, that talent would have gone to waste. Don’t worry if you’re not used to working out—Coach Iansan knows how to train anyone!
