KEMCO Launches Card Deck-Building Roguelite Novel Rogue on Android

You play as Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the hallowed halls of the Ancient Library. Wright’s adventure unfolds as he delves into the stories contained within four magical books, each transporting him to a unique and richly detailed world.

One book might find you aiding a princess knight in reclaiming her fallen kingdom, while another plunges you into the enigmatic mysteries of the underworld. Every choice you make reverberates through these worlds, ensuring each playthrough offers a fresh and unpredictable experience.

What Awaits You in Novel Rogue?

At its core, Novel Rogue features a dynamic turn-based card battle system that adapts to the book you’re currently exploring. Each of the four worlds boasts its own distinct deck-building mechanics. Defeat enemies, choose from three new cards after each battle, and craft the ultimate deck to conquer your foes.

Strategic depth is enhanced by the "Change" command, allowing you to strategically redistribute damage among your allies. The "Novel Power" mechanic empowers your deck using ink, while "Deep Record" mode throws you into high-stakes battles with significantly increased difficulty.

As you progress, collect treasures to cultivate relationships with your companions, unlocking special endings based on your interactions. Customize your appearance with "Witch Stones," allowing you to swap character costumes and express your unique style.
