LEGO Revives Simpsons Collaboration, Unveils Krusty Burger Set

Ay caramba! LEGO enthusiasts and Simpsons fans, get ready for a treat! LEGO has just unveiled the much-anticipated LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger set, a minifigure-scale masterpiece packed with Easter eggs and nods to the show's golden age. Priced at $209.99, this set is designed for adults aged 18+ and will hit the shelves on June 4. This exciting release marks the first Simpsons-themed LEGO set since 2018, when fans were treated to the Brickheadz models of Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, the LEGO Simpsons line included only two larger sets: the 2,523-piece Simpsons house from 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart from 2015, both of which have since been retired. The announcement of the Krusty Burger set is a delightful surprise, breathing new life into a beloved franchise many thought had reached its end.

The Krusty Burger set is comprised of 1,635 pieces and measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior design is reminiscent of McDonald's, featuring a drive-thru menu and window. The set opens up on a hinge, revealing intricately detailed interiors including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. Additionally, the set includes two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

Included with the set are seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou, allowing fans to recreate their favorite scenes from the show.
