Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon card, showcases the red-white color pairing in Aetherdrift. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond), this creature boasts 3 power, allowing it to crew vehicles directly. Its activated ability generates Pilot tokens to crew vehicles, making it a valuable asset in red-white decks.

The rare card, Count on Luck, is a 3-mana enchantment with a straightforward yet powerful effect. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and may play it immediately. This "impulse draw" mechanic consistently provides extra cards for mono-red decks, offering a high-risk, high-reward strategy.

Play We also have a look at Count on Luck's extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While the extended-art version simply expands the artwork, the First-Place Foils are a new addition to Aetherdrift. These golden cards are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box, encompassing all rares and 10 full-art lands.

Aetherdrift launches on February 14th (both physically and digitally), with prereleases beginning February 7th. Learn more about the set's mechanics here.
