Marvel Rivals is thrilled to announce an exciting crossover event! The iconic Advanced Suit 2.0, straight from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, is making its way into the game as a brand-new skin.
As revealed in a recent PlayStation X/Twitter post, NetEase Games is bringing this sleek Spider-Man suit to life in their hero shooter. Originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel’s Spider-Man, this suit—with its distinctive white spider symbol—has become a fan favorite, appearing in all three installments of the series. This collaboration marks a surprising partnership between Sony and NetEase, bringing a console-exclusive superhero game aesthetic to mobile. Get ready to swing into action! The Advanced Suit 2.0 will be available in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with the PC release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this Spidey suit stands out as a truly unique addition. Beyond its connection to the immensely popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice talents of Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal, the voice of Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games, also lends his voice to Marvel Rivals' version of the character. This ensures a familiar and authentic experience for players who acquire the costume on January 30th.
NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 adds another exciting element to the already impressive content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every month and a half, ensuring a steady stream of fresh content for players.
While we eagerly await the arrival of the new Spider-Man suit, be sure to check out some of the amazing custom skins created by players, explore the balance changes implemented in Season 1, and learn how players are using the Invisible Woman's abilities to identify potential bot players.
