Marvel Snap’s Norse mythology update continues with the return of the iconic Deadpool’s Diner event

The heat is on in Marvel Snap, with Surtur and his Muspelheim crew bringing fiery excitement to the card battler. A recent update unleashed a flurry of new content, including fresh characters and locations, and it also heralded the return of a fan-favorite event.

That's right, Deadpool’s Diner is back in Marvel Snap, and it's sizzling until December 3rd. If you're new to this mode, prepare to dive into a series of escalating challenges where you bet your stash of Bubs to climb the ranks. Winning at a table propels you to the next, with higher stakes and bigger rewards. Succeed at the top tier, and you'll unlock King Eitri along with an exclusive Jane Foster variant by Andrea Guardino. This mode, separate from the traditional ladder matches, offers a fun, low-pressure way to explore and enjoy unique mechanics.

In addition to the event, the update introduced Surtur, the fire giant and harbinger of Ragnarok. Surtur's card packs a punch with an ability that grants him +3 Power whenever you play a card with 10 or more Power. Deck builders, get ready for some explosive action by leveraging this powerful skill.

Surtur doesn't blaze alone; he's joined by a roster of new Series 5 characters, including Frigga, Malekith, Fenris Wolf, and Gorr the God Butcher. New cards aren't the only highlights. Two new locations, Valhalla and Yggdrasil, keep the Norse theme alive. Valhalla doubles down on On Reveal abilities after turn 4, while Yggdrasil enhances all cards at a different location by +1 Power each turn.
