Marvel's Wonder Man Preview in Disney+ Reel

Disney+ has unveiled a first look at its late 2025 lineup, featuring a slate of new and returning series. Highlights include Marvel's "Wonder Man," the revival of "King of the Hill," the long-awaited television debut of the "Alien" franchise with "Alien: Earth," and the new true-crime adaptation "The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox."

The upcoming MCU series is undoubtedly a major highlight, though the rest of the announced projects are also highly promising. The "Wonder Man" clip offers a glimpse of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II ("Candyman") as Simon Williams, an actor and stunt performer with superpowers auditioning for the lead role in a superhero television series—a decidedly meta premise.

Though brief, the 60-second sneak peek delivers fast-paced and thrilling footage, also showcasing the legendary Ben Kingsley in a supporting role.

Kingsley reprises his role as Trevor Slattery, the washed-up actor once kidnapped by the Ten Rings who later became the court jester for immortal warlord Xu Wenwu. The clip features a conversation between the two characters, scenes from what appears to be an audition, and a tense moment on a film set.

Beyond "Wonder Man," the footage for "Alien: Earth" is sure to generate significant excitement. Viewers get a look at the doomed spaceship that crash-lands on Earth, kicking off the story, and see Sydney Chandler as the series' protagonist—the first human-robot hybrid.

The preview also spotlights other upcoming series like the comedy "Chad Powers" starring Glen Powell and Ryan Murphy's legal drama "All’s Fair." Returning favorites featured in the sizzle reel include Season 2 of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and Season 5 of "Only Murders in the Building."
