When Do Metaphor Members Unite: ReFantazio?

Metaphor: ReFantazio boasts eight playable characters, including the protagonist. While Gallica joins early, her combat participation is limited. The remaining seven join at specific story points, detailed below. Note: Reading this list may reveal minor story spoilers.

Character Join Dates in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Each party member unlocks a unique Archetype, usable by any party member once unlocked. Early members may initially be AI-controlled before gaining full control.

• Storhl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (6/5) at the Border Fort, but his Archetype unlocks the following day, June 6th (6/6), in the Nord Mines. Until then, he's AI-controlled.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes fully playable on June 6th (6/6) after Storhl's Archetype unlocks. Grius doesn't have a traditional Archetype awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th (6/10), becoming fully playable after her Archetype unlocks during the boss fight on June 11th (6/11).

• Heismay (Thief): His Archetype awakens and he joins the party on July 4th (7/4) within Martira's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Joins the party after her Archetype awakening on August 13th (8/13).

• Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's join date is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon between August 19th (8/19) and September 4th (9/4) during Viraga Island's free time adds her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on September 11th (9/11) during Saint's Day events. Combat use is available the following day.
