Microsoft unveils Retro Classics with Game Pass, partnering with Antstream Arcade to deliver over 50 vintage Activision titles from the 80s and 90s to subscribers.
The collection features iconic games like Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom!, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall!, some dating back 45 years. Notably, players can now save progress—a first for many of these classics.

Microsoft plans to expand the Retro Classics catalog with additional Activision and Blizzard titles, eventually exceeding 100 games. New additions will arrive monthly.
Retro Classics offers Game Pass members a seamless experience across console, PC, and cloud-enabled devices. Whether playing on Xbox, Windows via the Xbox app, or streaming via LG/Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV, or Meta Quest headsets, these nostalgic titles remain easily accessible.
Subscribers can access Retro Classics by searching through their Game Pass interface. New features include competitive challenges, fresh achievements, and—crucially for classic games—the ability to save progress.
