Minecraft Movie Gets Exclusive Popcorn Bucket

Remember themed popcorn buckets? Of course you do. Well, the upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the bandwagon with its own unique concessions novelties that will be available during its theatrical run. According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, paired with a chicken jockey drink container. These items are exclusive to the Cinemark chain of theaters in the United States, but other theaters may have their own plans for Minecraft fans, so stay tuned.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that started with the viral R2-D2 popcorn bucket for 2019's Rise of Skywalker. The success of that bucket inspired theater executives to continue this fun, albeit somewhat overdone and pricey, modern theatrical tradition. If it encourages more people to enjoy the cinematic experience, I'm all for it.
