Monopoly GO and Star Wars Launch Podracing, Lightsabers Summer Collab

Monopoly GO! is set to blast off into hyperspace with its latest event, following the footsteps of last year's Marvel collaboration. The Monopoly GO x Star Wars crossover is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects yet from Scopely, promising a thrilling blend of strategy and adventure in the iconic Star Wars universe.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

Mark your calendars! The event kicks off on May 1st and will run through to July 2nd. The narrative begins with an engaging twist: PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, becomes engrossed in a Star Wars movie in Mr. M's private cinema. Her imagination takes over, transporting herself and her friends into the Star Wars galaxy, shifting the focus from properties and hotels to the epic battle between Jedi and Sith, and the eternal struggle between the light and dark sides.

During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab, players can collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album, which unfolds like a comic book, reimagining parts of the Star Wars saga through PEG-E’s creative lens. The album features an array of beloved characters, including R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The traditional Monopoly GO events are also getting a Star Wars makeover. Expect mini-games set on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena, where you might even witness Qui-Gon Jinn and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing action.
