Project NET also announced a limited-access beta test, the "Shock Point Test," opening on March 4, 2025. This test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. Important note: this is a non-monetized test, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also be launched in Russia; check the RU website for details. The developers are currently working on optimizing the game for a global release.
Here’s the official schedule for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:
Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Further test participant selections will occur throughout the testing period (dates to be announced).
First unveiled on December 27, 2024, Project NET is developed by Sunborn Network, the creators of the beloved Girls’ Frontline. The game underwent its initial localized test in SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.
Building on the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (a popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016, spawning an anime series and other games), and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5, 2024), Project NET promises familiar characters and aesthetics within its exciting third-person shooter gameplay.
While a release date remains unannounced, Project NET is currently slated for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial testing phase.
