That said, the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered performs slightly better with a controller, though the difference is marginal.

The next month will bring PC releases that could favor controllers, though their optimal control scheme remains to be seen:

• Freedom Wars Remastered – This PS Vita revival follows Monster Hunter’s formula, making controller support essential.
• Tales of Graces f Remastered – Like past Tales entries, this remaster will likely feel most natural with a gamepad.
• Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth – Given its predecessor's controller-friendly design, Rebirth's similar combat system should follow suit.
• Marvel's Spider-Man 2 – As a former PS5 exclusive, it’s designed primarily for controllers—though keyboard and mouse should still work.
