In the bustling world of Monster Hunter Wilds, adventure extends beyond epic monster hunts. For those seeking the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement, the journey is surprisingly less monstrous and more…crabby. Forget dragons; your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, easily captured with your trusty Capture Net.
Pinpointing this crustacean can be tricky, as it roams various maps. However, the Scarlet Forest offers a reliable hunting ground. From the base camp, head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp (located between Areas 2 and 6 if you haven't discovered it yet). Near the water puddle in this area, the Curioshell Crab often makes an appearance. If you're having trouble spotting it, enlist Alma's help; she'll mention a creature holding something, indicating a nearby Curioshell Crab.

Equip your Capture Net, aim for the orange reticle, and capture the crab. Success nets you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, these crabs are speedy, so anticipate their movements for a successful capture. While other locations like Area 13 of the Windward Plains and Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest also offer potential spawning points, our testing has proven these locations most fruitful.
That's all you need to know to snag the "A Prize Held High" trophy or achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds. For further Monster Hunter Wilds guides and tips, explore The Escapist.
