Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh challenge set unlocking free rewards, like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. Not all objects qualify; use Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad) to identify destructible items highlighted in red.

This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be available. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings capable of triggering Recursive Destruction will then appear. Destroy these buildings multiple times. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but repeated strikes should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
