Roland-Garros eSeries returns in 2025 with even more excitement, bigger stakes, and a fresh team-based format that brings virtual tennis to life like never before. Tennis Clash once again serves as the official platform for this global competition, offering players the chance to compete on the iconic red clay courts of Paris—virtually, of course.
This year’s tournament features an impressive €5,000 prize pool and welcomes back major sponsors Renault and Mastercard. As part of the partnership, players can personalize their avatars with exclusive Roland-Garros 2025 apparel and wield the limited-edition Renault 5 Roland-Garros string—a stylish and symbolic nod to the event's heritage.
The competition begins in March 2025 with open qualifiers, where aspiring champions from every corner of the globe will battle for a coveted spot in the grand finals. The qualifying stages are scheduled as follows:
From these events, top performers will emerge, with the best female players from the first two qualifiers automatically qualifying for the final stage. The ultimate showdown takes place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The action will also be streamed globally via Twitch for fans unable to attend in person.
In a thrilling twist, the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 debuts a brand-new team-based structure. Rather than competing individually, finalists will be divided into teams, each captained by a renowned figure from the world of French tennis. One confirmed captain is Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion. Simon has been involved in past editions as both a player and commentator and now steps into the role of coach.
While his opposing captain remains under wraps, organizers have hinted that this mystery figure is a Grand Slam title holder—raising anticipation for the reveal.
Once the teams are finalized, the real test begins. The victorious squad from the initial phase will enter the double-elimination bracket from the winners' side, while the defeated team must fight through the losers’ bracket—an intense format designed to separate the best from the rest.
Defending champion Alessandro “ΔLEX” Bianco is set to return, determined to hold onto his crown. He’ll be joined by last year’s Grand Tour runners-up, ensuring fierce competition ahead. With over 548,000 participants from 215 regions in 2024, this year promises to be even more competitive.
To celebrate Women’s Day, Tennis Clash is offering a special reward: a trip to Paris for the top-ranked female and overall players. Make sure you're ready when the qualifiers begin—download the game from the Google Play Store and start training your skills today.
