Recent leaks about Zenless Zone Zero suggest a new Bangboo customization event may transition into a permanent game mode with Version 1.5. With the next update slated for January 22, the community is buzzing with speculation about its upcoming features.

Version 1.4 of Zenless Zone Zero introduced substantial content, including S-Rank characters Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, the latter being free for all players. The update also brought two new permanent combat and challenge modes, rewarding players with items like Polychrome and Boopon. While Zenless Zone Zero is primarily an action RPG, it has previously featured diverse event modes, such as the "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event. Leaks now suggest developers may introduce another non-combat mode in Version 1.5, potentially as a permanent addition.

According to trusted community leaker Flying Flame, a new Bangboo customization mode in Version 1.5 will remain available post-update. This mode will debut through a Bangboo Beauty Contest event, where players can design outfits for Eous, the mascot and personal Bangboo of Wise and Belle. Leaked screenshots from Flying Flame showcase various clothing options for Eous. While the customization mode is expected to stay, the event’s exclusive rewards will be time-limited.
