The Bug Out event is making a thrilling return to Pokémon Go, scheduled from March 26th to 30th, and it's bringing an exciting lineup of Bug-type Pokémon, including the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. This event promises a mix of wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges to keep players engaged.
Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event, not only attracting Sizzlipede but also increasing the number of Pokémon that appear at a PokéStop when multiple catches are made with a single Lure Module. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to maximize their Pokémon encounters.
Players will also benefit from earning double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an increased chance of receiving Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will have better luck finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede during the event.
The wild will be teeming with Bug-type Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble, with the possibility of encountering the elusive Cutiefly.
In the raid scene, Sizzlipede will be available in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing the event-themed Field Research tasks will grant players Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

For those willing to spend, a Paid Timed Research for $2 or the local equivalent will provide encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, as well as two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges during the event will reward players with Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, and PokéStop Showcases will feature event-themed Pokémon. Don't miss out on the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket available in the in-game shop.
