Squad Busters: Farewell Emotes Hit the Store!

Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! This popular mobile game is making significant changes, removing the win streak system that rewarded players for consecutive victories. The developers cite the system's pressure-inducing nature as the reason for its removal.

Why the Change and When?

The win streak system, while intended to celebrate player skill, often added unnecessary stress and frustration. To alleviate this, Squad Busters is removing the feature entirely starting December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a lasting achievement.

As a gesture of goodwill, players who reach specific win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes. However, there will be no refunds for coins spent on boosting win streaks. The developers explain that this is to maintain game balance between free and paid players.

Player reaction to this change is mixed. Some welcome the move towards a less pay-to-win environment, while others express disappointment over the removal of the feature and the perceived inadequacy of the compensation.

Dive into Cyber Squad!

Beyond the removal of Win Streaks, Squad Busters' latest season, Cyber Squad, is now live! This season offers a plethora of rewards, including a free Solarpunk Heavy Skin. Jump into the action and experience all the new content!
