The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled to launch later in 2025. With a Nintendo Direct presentation happening later today on April 2nd, excitement is building among fans for the upcoming announcements. However, Nintendo may have already dropped some subtle hints about the Switch 2 ahead of the Direct, including details about new hardware features.

Nintendo recently launched a smartphone application named Nintendo Today, designed to deliver the latest news and game information directly to users. Observant fans noted that the app's listing on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store featured promotional images. One of these images explicitly states, "Get daily updates on Nintendo Switch 2 news, alongside game info, videos, comics, and more."

A closer look at the Nintendo Switch 2 image appears to show the final console design. It includes the newly styled Joy-Con controllers and confirms the presence of a mysterious C button on the right Joy-Con.
